Spider Crab
Wait for the charge to end in a short stun. Circle close enough to punish, then back off after one or two hits.
Giant Piranha
Upgrade the pistol or shotgun, clear the smaller piranhas first, and use them as emergency healing.
Pufferfish
Run a tight circle in phase one. In phase two, route it through trees and the shed; avoid the purple trail.
Albatross
Use a tuna to trigger it, listen for the dive, and shoot the bird when it carries a teammate into the air.

Killscore multipliers, trick shots and grilling increase sale value. Catching the fish is only the start of the transaction.
Damage before speed
Buy the radar, then prioritize a useful gun and inventory slots. A faster boat cannot kill the thing on your line.
Cooked fish are healing
Unlock the grill on Island 3 and stage cooked food near hard fights—just keep it away from seagulls.
Split the jobs
One player drives, one tracks objectives, one carries quest drops and one handles damage or recovery.
